Abuja, Nigeria – Hon. Abdulmumin Jibrin, a prominent member of the House of Representatives representing the Bebeji/Kiru Federal Constituency of Kano State under the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), has expressed strong confidence in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's chances of securing re-election in the 2027 presidential polls.
While there are no recent news reports confirming that Hon. Jibrin has formally returned to the All Progressives Congress (APC), his comments on national television clearly signal a firm alignment with the incumbent President and his political future.
Jibrin: "Nothing Will Stop Him from Winning"
Speaking recently, Jibrin, who served as Director General of the defunct APC Support Groups before the 2023 elections before defecting to the NNPP, was unequivocal in his support for President Tinubu.
"I believe I cannot see anything that will stop him from winning the elections in 2027. I did not say again; I am saying I believe. There's no two ways about it. I am a Tinubu person. I like him and he likes me. Irrespective of party affiliation, it has been a great relations
3 hip," Jibrin stated.
Cross-Party Loyalty and Political Realignment
Jibrin's declaration, made while still holding a mandate under the NNPP, underscores the fluid nature of Nigerian politics and the early maneuvering ahead of the 2027 elections.
His statement aligns with a growing number of political leaders from various parties who have publicly endorsed President Tinubu for a second term, reflecting an early consolidation of support for the APC ahead of the next electoral cycle.
