🔞 Chapter 111&112🔞
The car screeched into the hospital driveway.
Mr Kings jumped out before the driver could even stop properly.
“Help! Someone help my wife is giving birth!” he shouted, panic written all over his face.
A nurse rushed out with a wheelchair just as Ana let out a scream loud enough to make the security guard drop his coffee.
“Charlie, I swear if those babies kicks me one more time, I’ll make you carry the next one yourself!” Ana yelled, gripping her belly like it had betrayed her.
Mr Kings helped her into the wheelchair, still holding her hand. “Okay, baby, just breathe. In and out. We practiced this, remember? You were amazing in the birthing class!”
“I was amazing because I wasn’t in pain, Charles! Now I feel like these babies are trying to split me in half!”
The nurse wheeled Ana quickly toward the elevator while Mr Kings jogged beside her like a lost intern.
Another nurse appeared, clipboard in hand.
“Mrs. Kings, how far along are you?”
“Almost , nine months..and two minutes away from knocking my husband out if he says ‘breathe’ one more time,” Ana snapped, breathing fast.
Mr Kings grinned nervously.
“You’re doing so well, babe. You look beautiful.”
“Beautiful? I look like a watermelon that’s about to explode!”
They got to the delivery ward.
A team of doctors and nurses were already prepping the room.
Ana l was transferred to the bed,.
She grabbed Mr Kings's shirt and pulled
him close.
“If I die, you better name both of them after me. Even if one’s a boy!”
“You’re not dying, baby, you’re just having our two little miracles.”
Ana glared. “Miracles? They feel like a demolition crew right now.”
The doctor smiled warmly.
“Alright, Ana, we’re going to get started soon. You’re already dilated enough. These babies are ready.”
“Of course they are,” she groaned.
“They take after their father. No patience.”
They got her into position,.
Mr Kings hold her hand and the kissed her forehead. “I’m here. I’ve got you. And when this is done, I’ll get you that spa day and all the sushi you want.”
“You better,” she whispered.
“And I want a full week without diapers.”
“Deal,” he laughed.
Just then, a contraction hit hard and fast.
“AAAGHHH!! Charlie! I swear if these twins both look like you, I'm sending them to your mother!”
“She’ll love that,” Mr Kings chuckled, holding her hand tighter.
The monitor beeped. The room filled with focused energy.
The nurse smiled at Ana. “Are you ready?”
Ana groaned but nodded. “Let’s do this.”
Mr Kings whispered, “Push, baby, push...”
“I said don’t say that!” she screamed.
He winced. “Right. Sorry!”
*******
Mr Kings stood by Ana’s side, holding her hand like it was a lifeline though she had nearly broken his fingers twice already.
“Okay, Ana, deep breaths. One more big push!” the doctor encouraged.
“I swear this is the last time, Charlie,” Ana panted, sweat dripping down her forehead.
“After these two, I’m sewing it shut!”
Mr Kings tried to speak but Anna screamed again, cutting him off.
A nurse yelled, “I see the head!”
“Of which one? There’s two in there!” Ana cried, nearly lifting off the bed.
“First one’s coming out now!”
Ana pushed with everything she had, and suddenly ,crying filled the room.
A loud, healthy wail.
“It’s a boy!” the nurse announced joyfully.
Ana collapsed back onto the pillows, tears instantly streaming down her cheeks.
“My baby...”
Mr Kings was frozen, mouth open, staring at the tiny pink body in the nurse’s arms.
“A boy…he's perfect,” he whispered, eyes wide with emotion.
But no time for rest Ana’s body tensed again.
“Oh no, the other one’s not waiting!” she groaned.
“You got this, baby,” whispered, kissing her hand.
“He’s already here, now bring his partner.”
Ana gave one long, determined push and just a few moments later, another cry rang out.
“It’s a girl!” the doctor said, lifting the slightly bigger twin in the air.
Mr Kings let out a strangled sound that was somewhere between a laugh and a sob.
“A boy and a girl… Ana, we did it. You did it!”
Ana burst into tears, too tired to speak, as they placed both babies on her chest.
One pink and delicate, the other a little red and squirmy, but both healthy.
Both hers.
She looked at Mr Kings through wet lashes.
“Look at them. They look like you.”
Mr Kings smiled.
“Thank God,” he teased. “They’re going to be stunning.”
Ana let out a breathless laugh. “I love them so much. Already.”
Charlie leaned down and kissed her. “And I love you. You are everything.”
The nurse smiled. “Do we have names yet?”
Ana looked at the little girl sleeping on her chest and then at her brother beside her.
She nodded. “Yes. Aiden… and Takim”
Mr Kings grinned. “Aiden and Takim Kings. Welcome to the world.”

✨SEVEN YEARS LATER ✨
---
Ana opened the door to her daughter’s room and found her curled up on the bed, face buried in a pink stuffed dog clutched tightly against her chest.
Soft sniffles filled the air.
She was singing to herself off-key, sad, and broken.
Ana sighed gently, already knowing how dramatic Takim could be.
"Baby, why are you crying?" she asked softly, walking over and sitting beside her on the bed.
Takim turned away, her little shoulders trembling.
"I don’t want to talk to you," she mumbled, her voice small and shaky.
"You were mean."
Ana blinked, taken aback, then leaned down and gently scooped her daughter into her lap.
"What did Mom do? Why are you upset?" she asked, holding her close.
"I’m sorry if I hurt your feelings. I promise I’ll listen this time. Just tell me what made you cry."
Takim didn't answer right away.
She clutched the pink dog tighter, eyes still glossy with tears.
"Sometimes you shout when you’re angry," she finally whispered.
"And I don’t like it when you say I’m too much."
Ana’s heart sank..
"Oh baby," she murmured, kissing the top of Takim’s head,
"I never mean to hurt you. I love all of you even the noisy, silly, wild parts. You’re my girl, and there’s nothing too much about you."
Takim finally looked up at her, a small pout still on her lips.
"Even when I break things?"
"Even then," Ana smiled, brushing her tears away.
"But maybe don’t break the TV remote again."
Takim giggled softly, and Ana hugged her tighter.
"That’s better. Now how about some pancakes? With extra chocolate chips?"
"Only if I get to stir the batter!" Takim grinned.
Ana stood with her in her arms, heart a little fuller than before.
"Deal, chef."
***
Ana walked out of her room with her.
She headed downstairs into the dining room, where she found Aiden already seated, eyes fixed on his untouched plate of food, as quiet as always.
She gently placed Takim beside him and ruffled his hair.
Takim kissed Aiden on the cheek and let out a small huff.
“Hey baby, why aren’t you eating?” Ana asked softly.
Aiden looked up at her with a calm face and replied, “Because I was waiting for Kim to come.”
Takim folded her arms and pouted.
“I didn’t want to eat with you. You were mean to me,” she muttered.
Ana sighed, her shoulders dropping.
She wished Mr Kings was here he would’ve handled this better, especially when it came to their little princess.
“Baby,” Ana said gently, kneeling in front of her.
“you must eat with your brother, okay? You know we always eat as a family.”
“But Daddy’s not here. Can we wait for him too?” Kim asked, interrupting softly.
Ana sighed again, holding back her frustration.
“Your daddy’s coming soon, okay? He just went on a business trip, but he’ll be back. Now, can we eat? Please, sweetheart?”
“Miss Mario, can you bring Aiden his food?” Ana called out.
Miss Mario nodded and disappeared into the kitchen.
“What food is he going to eat?” Kim asked quickly.
“You know brother is allergic to pork. He can’t eat what we’re eating.”
“Don’t worry, Miss Mario knows,” Ana replied, brushing Kim’s cheek with a kiss.
“We made something special for him.”
“I wanna eat what he’s eating,” Kim pouted.
“No,” Aiden said firmly, finally speaking up. “We have food for you. This is my special food because I can’t eat what you eat.”
“But it’s just food,” Kim whined.
“I just wanna eat with you.”
“You are eating with me,” Aiden said, calmer this time.
“Just from your own plate.”
Ana watched the two, biting back a laugh.
Even in their little arguments, there was love.
She reached out her hands.
“Okay, my little stars. Can we please bless the food and eat before it gets cold?”
Reluctantly, both kids reached for her hands.
Peace, at least for the next five minutes.
**
“When is Daddy coming back?” Kim asked as they finished breakfast, her little fork pushing food around her plate.
“I told you, baby, he’s coming very soon,” Ana said gently, brushing Kim’s curls behind her ear.
“He’s just away for work. I promise he’ll be back before you even notice.”
“I miss him,” Kim whispered.
“Can we go and get him?”
“No, sweetheart. We can’t.” Ana sighed.
“You’ve got school, remember?”
Kim’s bottom lip pushed out. “School can be cancelled. I just wanna go see Dada. It’s been forever,” she said with a whine.
Ana gave her a look. “Kim, I said no. Today, you’re going to Grandma’s house. I’ll come and pick you up later, okay?”
Kim crossed her arms. “I don’t wanna go to Grandma’s house. Their maids are rude, and I don’t like the people there. Only Grandma and Auntie Clara are nice.”
Aiden shook his head.
“She’s always complaining.”
“I’m not complaining,” Kim snapped.
“I just don’t like how they look at me. And they touch my hair all the time like I’m a doll!”
Ana sighed again. “Okay, Kim, listen to me. I know they can be annoying, but Grandma loves you, and you’re only staying for a few hours.”
“I want to go to Auntie Sam’s house instead!” Kim said suddenly.
“I don’t wanna talk to anyone,” she added, sliding down from her chair and sulking toward the living room.
Ana looked at Aiden. “Can you please talk to her?”
Aiden shrugged. “I’m going. But can we stop at Leroy’s first? Please?”
“We’ll see,” Ana said.
Kim peeked back, eyes already glossy. “I’m not going if I don’t have my favorite toy.”
“You’ll have it,” Anna said, walking to the shelf and grabbing Kim’s stuffed pink unicorn. She handed it over.
“Here. No more tears, alright?”
Kim hugged the toy tightly, then muttered, “Thank you,” before collapsing into Ana’s lap.
Ana wrapped her arms around her daughter, kissing the top of her head.
“I know you miss Daddy, baby. I do too. But he’s coming back soon. Until then, can you be strong for Mommy?”
Kim nodded into her chest.
Then Anna called out, “Miss Mario? Can you help pack up Kim and Aiden’s things? Just the essentials. They already have clothes at Mom’s.”
“And don’t forget Kim’s medicine,” she added with a tired smile.
Miss Mario nodded from the kitchen.
Ana exhaled slowly. “Okay… we’ve got this. Right?”
Aiden grinned and gave her a thumbs-up.
Kim just clung tighter to her unicorn.
*****
After 30 minutes…
Kim rushed to Samantha, who had just stepped inside the house,.
Samantha bent down with a wide smile and scooped her up into her arms.
"Hello, my little princess. I missed you," she said warmly, planting a kiss on her cheek.
Kim giggled, her small arms wrapping tightly around Samantha’s neck.
"I missed you too, Auntie. I thought you weren’t coming to take me," she said, pulling back to look at her face.
"How could I not come for my little troublemaker?" Samantha teased.
"I had to come before you get your mama into more trouble."
She gave Ana a playful glance as they walked inside.
Her eyes landed on Aiden, who stood quietly with his hands in his pockets, glasses perched neatly on his nose, a shy smile tugging at his lips.
"Hello, little man," she greeted.
"Hello, Auntie. We missed you," Aiden replied softly.
"I missed you too, sweetheart." Samantha leaned down and kissed his cheek, ruffling his hair.
He groaned immediately, pulling back.
"Still hate that, huh?" Samantha laughed.
"Only Mom’s allowed to touch the golden head."
She set Kim down.
"Alright, you two. Go grab your things. I don’t have all day!"
The kids nodded and ran off excitedly.
Samantha watched them for a moment, a soft smile on her face before turning to Ana.
Her expression shifted, more serious now.
"You look beautiful," she said.
"Thank you. You look great too. I bet that CEO life suits you, ," Anna teased with a smirk.
"It definitely does," Samantha said, tossing her hair with playful confidence.
Then, for a moment, silence fell between them.
Even after seven years, there was always that quiet tension a remnant of the past.
Samantha cleared her throat.
"Thank you, Ana."
"For what?" Anna asked, raising an eyebrow with a faint smile.
"For giving my brother the best gift of his life those two little humans. Thank you. I know I was a mess back then… trying to ruin things. But I’ve grown. And I see how happy he is now. How whole you’ve made him."
Ana's smile softened. "It’s all in the past, Samantha. We’ve both grown. And thank you for stepping up for me and for the kids."
"Well, you're family now. Of course I will." Samantha smiled genuinely.
"Did you tell the kids you’re not coming back today?" she asked after a moment.
Ana shook her head with a tired sigh.
"You know how Kim is. If I tell her I’m leaving for a few days, she’ll throw a full-blown tantrum. I don’t have the energy today. My head's already pounding from her drama this morning. So I just told them I’d be back soon."
"Good move," Samantha chuckled.
"Enjoy your honeymoon. Take your time even a month, if you need. I’ve got them."
Just then, Kim and Aiden returned, Kim clutching her favorite unicorn toy tightly to her chest.
"Are we going now?" Kim asked excitedly.
"Yes, sweetheart. Let’s go," Samantha replied.
She turned back to Ana and, without warning, pulled her into a tight hug.
Ana was caught off guard but didn’t resist.
"Have a safe trip. Enjoy every moment, sister-in-law," Samantha whispered, pulling back with a smile.
They headed for the door,.
Ana called out, "Hey! Aren’t you going to give Mommy a kiss?"
Kim paused, turned with folded arms and said sassily, "I don’t think you deserve my kiss today, Mommy."
Then she grinned and ran off with Samantha.
Ana chuckled, shaking her head, then turned to Aiden and leaned down to kiss him. "I’ll see you soon, baby."
"You’re not coming today. I know," Aiden said, wise beyond his years.
Ana blinked, surprised. "Why would you say that?"
He smiled softly. "Just go and enjoy your trip, Mommy. We’ll be fine. I love you."
Tears stung Ana’s eyes as she whispered back.
"I love you too, my baby."

SETAI MIAMI BEACH
"Mrs. Kings, this is the key card to your room. Your husband is still in a meeting, unfortunately, but once he’s done, he’ll come and join you," the receptionist said with a warm smile, handing over the card.
Ana smiled back politely, taking it.
"Thank you. I’ll just get some rest while I wait."
"Oh, you better do that. See you soon!" the lady replied, and Ana nodded before heading to the elevator.
The doors closed, she looked down at her phone several missed calls from Samantha.
She already knew Kim was probably giving them a hard time.
Typical of her little girl.
A soft smile curved her lips as she shook her head.
For now, she needed to disconnect from the chaos and just focus on herself… for once.
Her phone buzzed again Mr. Kings's calling.
Her heart fluttered as she stepped out of the elevator and opened the door to the hotel suite.
The moment she stepped in, her mouth fell open.
The room was breathtaking spacious, elegant.
A full sitting area, a modern kitchen, a private balcony with a view, and a massive king-sized bed in the middle of a luxurious bedroom.
Everything smelled of roses and expensive linen.
"What is all of this?" she whispered, still in disbelief.
"Did you book the entire suite, Charlie?"
With her heart racing, she slipped off her heels and swiped to answer the call.
"Hey baby, I’ve arrived," she said softly.
"What are you doing now?" Mr. King's voice came through, deep and warm.
Just hearing him made her stomach flutter.
"I’m about to go take a shower," she replied as she walked into the bedroom, glancing around again in awe.
He chuckled on the other end.
She could picture him, hand probably resting on his chin, smiling to himself the way he always did when he teased her.
"Oh, baby doll… when you're done showering, I want you to come up to the rooftop. We’re having lunch there," he said casually.
"The rooftop?" she asked with a teasing pout in her voice.
"I thought you'd come see me first."
She could hear the wicked smirk in his voice as he replied,
"Oh no, sweetheart. Come where I told you to come. I need you there first. Because when I walk into that room and see you lying there looking like that? The only thing I’ll want to do is f***k you."
Her cheeks flushed.
She bit her lip and rolled her eyes, heat rushing to her core.
"Don’t make me repeat myself," he added, voice low and commanding.
"I love you," she whispered, her tone soft but full of anticipation.
"I love you too, baby doll. I can’t wait to see you. I missed you so damn much."
"I missed you too," she whispered, her heart now racing as she walked toward the bathroom, a little smile curling on her lips.
She stepped into the shower, the warm water cascading over her skin, washing away the stress of travel and slowly waking up something deeper inside her.
Her body was already craving him, the way only he could make her feel.
She lathered slowly, taking her time, knowing exactly what he had planned… and knowing what she wanted too.
She wrapped herself in a soft white robe, tied loosely at the waist, her skin still dewy.
Her hair slightly damp, lips tinted pink, she stepped into nude heels and grabbed the small black satin purse she had packed just for moments like this.
The elevator doors opened directly onto the rooftop.
And what she saw made her stop.
Candles.
Flowers.
A private rooftop setup just for two.
A white linen table with rose petals scattered on top, champagne chilling in a silver bucket, soft music playing.
The sky stretched above them in a golden afternoon glow.
It was perfect.
And then she saw him Mr. Kings standing at the edge,.
His suit jacket off, shirt sleeves rolled up, .
His back slightly turned, phone in hand.
But he must’ve felt her.
He turned.
His eyes darkened the second they landed on her.
That slow, possessive gaze traced her body like fingertips.
His lips curled into that half-smirk that always made her knees weak.
"Damn…" he whispered under his breath, setting his phone aside.
"You really wore that robe up here?"
Ana stepped forward, slow and teasing.
"You said lunch. You didn’t say how dressed I had to be."
He reached for her the moment she was close enough, his hand sliding behind her neck, pulling her in for a deep, urgent kiss.
It wasn’t gentle it was full of hunger, weeks of missing her poured into that kiss.
She gasped softly as he pulled the robe loose, letting it fall open just enough to reveal the silk lingerie underneath.
His breath hitched.
"Jesus… you came prepared to ruin me," he growled into her neck, kissing, biting gently.
"I came ready for dessert," she whispered, tugging his belt slowly.
"Baby doll…" he groaned,.
"we're not gonna make it to the food."
"Good," she whispered, lips brushing his.
"Because you’re the only thing I’m hungry for.".
